Vasilis Nikitas joined the European Commission in 2018 as an economic analyst and is part of DG Economic and Financial Affairs’ team that is based in Athens. He is part of the team monitoring the implementation of various energy-related reforms and investments as part of the Greek Recovery & Resilience Plan. Vasilis is Greek-Swedish and holds a degree in business administration and finance from the University of Halmstad (Sweden) and a master’s degree in European political economy from London School of Economics.
