Danijela Gačević has more than 15 years of experience in international cooperation, economic integration, and regional development. Since July 2025, she has been serving as Head of the Programme Department at the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), leading coordination of initiatives that support regional policies and cooperation. Prior to joining the RCC, she held senior positions in the CEFTA Secretariat, including serving as Acting Director from 2023 to 2025, where she guided trade facilitation, regional market integration, and policy dialogue with governments, international organizations, and the business community. Earlier in her career, she worked in the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro, contributing to trade negotiations and economic policy development. She holds degrees in Economics and European Economic Integrations from the University of Montenegro.
