Hellenism in Action – BrainReGain, Greece

Born in Constantinople, he holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras. He brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across technology, education, certification, and infrastructure sectors, with expertise in corporate governance, organizational transformation, and strategic growth. He serves as Chairman of the Board of GAIAOSE, a subsidiary of Growthfund that develops and manages railway real estate assets in Greece. In parallel, he is Managing Director of Athens International College, an institution offering internationally recognized academic and executive education programs. He also serves as Chairman of SEV-IVEPE, the skills and productivity hub of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). From 2019 to 2023, he served as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Post (ELTA). Earlier in his career, from 2003 to 2018, he held senior executive roles at PeopleCert Group, including Executive Vice President and COO/CTO, and President & CEO of PeopleCert Global Services, contributing to the company’s international expansion and the development of global certification services. Previously, he co-founded Knowledge S.A., one of Greece’s pioneering IT training and technology companies, serving as CEO for fifteen years and establishing it as a leading provider of professional IT education. He has been a member of the General Council of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), a board member of HellasCert, the Hellenic Association of Accredited Certification and Inspection Bodies, and Secretary General of SEPE, the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises. He is also a founding member and Chairman of the non-profit initiative “Hellenism in Action – BrainReGain”, which aims to strengthen the connection between the Greek diaspora and the Greek economy by fostering collaboration, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer.
