Vassilis serves as Digital Policy and AI Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic and the Presidency of the Greek Government, leading the design and delivery of AI-powered products for the Greek government, with a focus on high-compliance, high-impact environments. Vassilis has been the project lead for structuring the OpenAIforGreece and the Mistral AI x Greek Government partnerships. He is the national representative on AI at the Council of Europe (Committee on AI & Education) & Vice-Chair of the Committee. He previously served as a Special Adviser at the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister. With a background in private and public sector consulting, he has serviced clients in TMT, financial services, and healthcare. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Democritus University of Thrace. He has been recognized as a Clinton Foundation Fellow, Onassis Foundation Scholar, GLOBSEC Young Leader, an ADEL Emerging Young Leader and ranked in Greece's Forbes 30U30.
