Evangelos Tsilis is a medical doctor who has seamlessly transitioned from clinical practice to the front lines of global humanitarian aid. For the past twelve years, he has worked extensively in the migration and refugee sector. His extensive field experience includes a significant tenure with the United Nations in Greece, where he navigated the complexities of large-scale migration flows. He later led humanitarian operations in Ukraine during the most critical phase of the conflict, followed by a strategic mission in Moldova. Since September 2025, is appointed as the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Greece, where he focuses on strengthening child protection systems and support for vulnerable families and young people.
