Michalis Anagnostakos is a senior executive with 23 years of experience leading complex transformations and driving growth across telecommunications, pay-TV, aviation, transportation, and real estate. His profile combines broad commercial and strategic expertise — spanning marketing, customer experience, sales, and operations — with full P&L responsibility across large, multi-stakeholder organizations. He holds a BSc in Management from the University of Kent and an MBA from Cardiff University. Michalis began his professional career in the telecommunications sector, where he held senior executive roles, including a senior executive (CMO), playing a central role in the turnaround of Wind Hellas, culminating in one of the largest consolidation transactions in the Greek economy and the formation of Nova. Following the consolidation, he served as Chief Marketing / Commercial Officer of the combined entity, where Nova delivered strong revenue growth and market share gains in mobile and fiber-to-the-home, while its pay-TV business returned to growth after seven consecutive years of decline, supported by the Novasports–Cosmote Sports agreement. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Growthfund, the National Fund of Greece, where he leads the operational transformation of major State-Owned Enterprises including Transport for Athens, HPPC, TIF HELEXPO, CMFO, Hellenic Post, Corinth Canal, CMT, Hellenic Saltworks and GAIAOSE. In this role, he drives strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational performance, strengthening financial results, and unlocking the value of Greece’s public assets.
