Marco Struecker is a senior media executive with over 30 years of experience in digital media and strategic digital diversification. He began his career in Greece in 1994 at PEGASUS Publishing & Printing and later joined TREK Consulting, working on EU-funded digital media and e-commerce projects. In 2000, he joined the ANTENNA Group as Senior Project Manager and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2002, where he developed the Group’s Internet division. In 2006, he was appointed General Manager of ANTENNA Internet, leading its digital media strategy and diversification. Under his leadership, the ANTENNA Group became a pioneer in Greece’s digital media landscape, launching one of the first Media WebTV platforms, and a wide range of digital products, including e-commerce, e-learning, e-voting, music and gaming e-services. From 2014 to 2023, he served as Digital Advisor to the ANTENNA Group, alongside his role as Managing Director for South-Eastern Europe at VICE Media. Since January 2024, he serves as General Manager of ANTENNA Digital and since March 2024, as General Manager of ANT1+, the Groups’ OTT platform, leading strategy, partnerships and monetization. Mr. Struecker is a founding member and Board Member of the Online Publishers’ Association of Greece (ENED) and served on the Board of IAB Greece (2010–2018), including as President (2012–2014). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) since 2011, re-elected in 2017 and 2024. He served as President of the Service Sector (2017–2024) and currently is the Head of the Innovation and Startups division, driving initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and innovation within the Greek economy. Mr. Struecker holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Marketing and an MBA.
