Mrs. Jenny Gyftea Vice President & CEO – AGRO.VI.M. SA Mrs. Jenny Gyftea serves as Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of AGRO.VI.M. SA, one of the leading export oriented agri food companies in Greece and a major global ambassador of Greek olive oil. She holds an academic background in Administration Économique et Sociale, having studied at the University of Paris VIII, and later pursued Architecture at the École des Beaux Arts (Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne). She is a licensed architect and civil engineer, a background that has shaped her structured, design driven, and strategic approach to business development. Already during her university years in Europe, Mrs. Gyftea was actively involved in AGROVIM’s export activities, assuming responsibilities in international markets at an early stage. She played a decisive role in building and expanding the company’s global network of clients and suppliers, contributing significantly to AGROVIM’s transformation into a strong export focused organization. Fluent in English, French, German, and Italian, she has been a key promoter of Greek olive oil abroad, combining commercial expertise with cultural understanding. Under her leadership, AGROVIM became a pioneer in introducing design led innovation to olive oil packaging, redefining how Greek olive oil is presented internationally. She also led the global expansion of the company’s flagship brand, ILIADA, which today is present in 65 countries worldwide, strengthening the international recognition of Greek origin, quality, and authenticity. Together with her brother, Dimitris Gyfteas, Mrs. Gyftea structured AGROVIM into one of the strongest exporters in Greece, achieving annual exports of approximately €90 million. The company consistently holds the position of number one exporter of Greek olive oil and represents around 25% of total Greek olive oil exports, making it a strategically important player for the national economy. In recognition of this performance, AGROVIM was ranked among the top olive oil producers worldwide in 2025, being listed within the top 25 globally by international olive oil rankings. In the same year, the company was awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis, ranking among the top 15% of companies worldwide. Additionally, within the vegetable and animal oils and fats sector, AGROVIM ranks in the top 5% globally. These distinctions further reinforce the company’s leading position in the global olive oil market and its commitment to responsible and sustainable growth. Beyond commercial performance, AGROVIM has become a key pillar of the local and rural economy, operating through an organization built around approximately 7,000 olive oil farmers. This model supports sustainable agriculture, regional development, and long term value creation for primary producers across Greece. Today, Mrs. Gyftea oversees international sales, commercial strategy, financial performance, and investments of AGROVIM. She is leading and planning the transformation of the company into a well structured, resilient organization, capable of responding effectively to evolving global, market, and sustainability driven challenges. She travels extensively worldwide to monitor market developments, strengthen strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities, while ensuring quality, compliance, and brand integrity. Mrs. Jenny Gyftea is married to Mr. Kostas Peimanidis and is the mother of two daughters, Vanessa and Melina.
