Glauk Konjufca - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo Glauk Konjufca has served as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo since 11 February 2026. In this capacity, he contributes to the leadership and coordination of government policies and leads the diplomacy of the Republic of Kosova, representing the country in international relations, in regional and global organizations, and in bilateral relations with partner states. He is actively engaged in strengthening Kosova’s international subjectivity, deepening diplomatic cooperation, and consolidating relations with the diaspora. Born in July 1981 in Pristina, he completed his studies in Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Pristina, developing a distinguished intellectual profile in the field of philosophical and critical thought. Alongside his political engagement, he has maintained a sustained academic and publicist activity. He is the author of “Huti i Minervës fluturon në muzg – G.Ë.F. Hegel”, “Epistema e Dhomës së Zezë” and “Ontologjia e Artit të Shtatë”, works that address questions of classical philosophy, epistemology, and film aesthetics. He began his political engagement with Lëvizja VETËVENDOSJE! at its founding, where he has held significant leadership responsibilities. In 2010, he was elected for the first time as a Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova. From 2011 to 2015, he served as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. During the period 2015–2019, he held the position of Head of the Parliamentary Group of Lëvizja VETËVENDOSJE!, leading the political entity’s parliamentary representation in the Assembly. In the fifth legislature, he served as Deputy Chair of the Committee on Economic Development, Infrastructure, Trade and Industry, while in the sixth legislature he was a member of the Committee on Economic Development and of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. In October 2019, he was once again elected as a Member of Parliament, and on 26 December 2019 he took office as Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova, a position he held until 3 February 2020. In the same year, he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, serving until June 2020. On 22 March 2021, he returned to the office of Speaker of the Assembly, leading the legislative institution until 15 April 2025. In the parliamentary elections of 9 February and 28 December 2025, he was re-elected as a Member of Parliament, prior to assuming his current executive responsibilities. Glauk Konjufca is married and the father of three children. He resides with his family in Pristina.
