Vassilis Fourlis is Executive Chairman of Fourlis Group. He joined the Group in 1985 and has been Chairman since 2000. He is Executive Chairman of Trade Estates REIC and Sportswear Market (Intersport), Vice Chairman of House Market S.A. (IKEA) and Member of the Board of Directors of “Elliniki Etairia – Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage”. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), TITAN Cement Company, Hellenic Telecommunications Company (OTE), Vivartia, Piraeus Bank and The Ethniki – Hellenic General Insurance Company, Henry Dunant Hospital, the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council. He holds an MCRP (Economic Development and Regional Planning) from the University of California/Berkeley, an MSc in Management (International Business) from Boston University and a BA (Honors in Economics and Urban Studies) from the College of Wooster.
