Alexandros has been working at the Directorate-General for External Policies of the European Parliament since July 2024, specifically within the Subcommittee on Human Rights, with a geographical focus on South Asia, China, the Korean Peninsula, and Japan, and thematic responsibilities including freedom of religion or belief, freedom of the press, and the protection of journalists. Prior to assuming his current role, he was a member of the Cabinet of the President of the European Parliament, Ms Roberta Metsola, from April 2022 to July 2024. Alexandros began his career at the European Parliament in 2019, working for Member of the European Parliament Vangelis Meimarakis. He has also worked in the private sector in Greece for the communications company V+O. He is a Member of the Board of Synergia Institute for Public Policy and heads its External Affairs and Security working group. He holds a Master’s degree in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kent.
