Vassilis Vovos is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at JTI. Since 2023, Vassilis has driven JTI’s financial strategy and has had oversight of company's Sustainability strategy initiatives. With more than 30 years’ experience in the tobacco sector, Vassilis joined the JTI Executive Committee in 2010, initially as Regional President for Central Europe and then as President of the Western Europe Region. In 2018, he took over the CFO role, combining the leadership of Finance, Shared Services and Information Technology Functions. A Greek and Swiss national, Vassilis’ career began at R.J. Reynolds International. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Thessalonica Polytechnic School and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Vassilis is a Member of the Board for the JTI Foundation.
