Studied Sociology, Ιnternational Relations, MA Byzantine civilization (Paris & London Universities). 1972: co-founded, with Costa Carras, ELLINIKI ETAIRIA - Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (ELLET) Directed 16 internationally awarded documentaries (Chicago, Thessaloniki & MediMed Film Festivals, EU awards). - «Sinai God Trodden Mountain» sales financed Refectory restoration. - «Sir Steven Runciman: Bridge to the East» - «The Song of the Monk Seal» - «Beyond the Βarbed Wires» - «Voice of the Aegean» - «My Life and Times - Michael Cacoyannis» Since 2004: Artistic Director - Panorama of Ecological Films. 2015: curator «Marathon: Cultural Landscape», Unesco, Paris. 2017: elected ELLINIKI ETAIRIA President. 2019: European Heritage Award for “Greek Paths of Culture”. 2021: Editor “Fragile Earth” publication. 2009: Academy of Athens life΄s work award (Heritage - Environment).
