May Hasan is an internationally experienced business advisor, trainer, educator, and social entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in leadership, capacity building, mental health, trauma-informed care, entrepreneurship, youth and women’s empowerment across the United States and the Middle East. She has worked with universities, NGOs, UN agencies, refugees, women, and youth, focusing on survivor-centered and rights-based approaches, institutional development, and community empowerment. As the founder of Zahra Designs, she also promotes women’s economic empowerment and cultural identity through creative entrepreneurship. With extensive experience facilitating dialogue across diverse communities and institutions, May brings a strong perspective on gender equality, inclusion, leadership, and sustainable social change to the Delphi Forum panel in Kurdistan.
