Serhan Afacan is the Director of the Center for Iranian Studies in Ankara as well as Associate Professor at the Deparment of Political History and International Relations of the Midde East at the Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries, Marmara University, Istanbul. His research focuses on modern Iranian history and Iran’s domestic and foreign policies. He is proficient in English, Persian and Arabic.
