 Alexander Zinell has been the Chief Executive Officer of Fraport Greece since 2016. The company holds concessions to operate 14 Greek regional airports for a 40-year term. Fraport Greece invested over €500 million to expand and modernise all its airports. In 2025, the company handled 37 million passengers, while in 2026, Kalamata International Airport “Captain Vasilis Konstantakopoulos” will be joining the network of airports operated by Fraport Greece.

Before this role, Alexander Zinell was responsible for Global Investments and Management at Fraport AG. He has held senior executive and non-executive positions at airports and affiliates in Antalya (Turkey), St. Petersburg (Russia), Varna and Burgas (Bulgaria), Orlando (USA), and Lima (Peru). Alexander Zinell holds degrees in business administration from the University of Cologne and HEC Paris.
