George Efstratiadis is the Managing Director of IDATOR, a Greek water-technology company founded in 1969 and today one of the country's most established names in clean water and wastewater management. Since assuming leadership in 2004, he has built on the company his father, Leonidas Efstratiadis, started — growing IDATOR into a team of over 100 people with a portfolio of 40 international brands and its own manufacturing brand, METTA. Under his direction, IDATOR expanded from distribution into production and services, and beyond Greece into Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary. He represents leading technologies such as Xylem (Flygt, Lowara) and Itron in smart water metering. At the Sofia Economic Forum, he brings a regional perspective on water security, energy-efficient infrastructure and sustainable growth across Southeast Europe.
