Svetlin Pislenski is an Associate Director for Corporate Business at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Bulgaria. He has over 18 years of experience leading teams to structure and execute corporate finance, project finance, and private equity investments across Bulgaria and the SEE region. Svetlin has a central role in shaping EBRD’s engagement in support of Bulgaria’s energy transition, leading landmark financing transactions as well as major policy and advisory initiatives with both private and state-owned enterprises. In the past, Svetlin was part of the external and internal audit functions of key European financial institutions in London and Sofia. He holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW UK as well as an MSc in Macroeconomics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
