Nick Butler is an energy economist, with a degree in Economics from Trinity College Cambridge. He held various economics roles in BP and was subsequently senior policy adviser to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. He is now a Visiting Professor at Kings College London and has served on the advisory boards of Equinor and DTEK - the largest private energy business in Ukraine.
