Georgia (Giola) Valatsou has been serving as Chief Executive Officer of the e- EFKA Real Estate Development Company ( Single-Member S.A ) since July 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an LL.M. in Public Law from the same Institution. She was admitted to the Greek Civil Service as a graduate of the National School of Public Administration and, upon graduation, was appointed to the Ministry of the Presidency of the Government. Throughout her career, she has served at all levels of positions of responsibility, including roles such as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Tourism, Special Adviser to the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister, and Secretary General of a second-level Local Government Authority. Over the past twenty- plus years, her responsibilities in these positions indicatively included, policy analysis, operational design and implementation planning of public policies;management of complex projects and regulatory policy projects;budget management;administration of co-financed and other development programmes;state aid programmes;procurement of goods and services as well as public works;organisational restructuring and simplification of administrative procedures through the management of digitalisation projects;human resources development and management. Her experience also includes the participation and representation of the Greek Public Administration in international conferences, committees and fora.
