Katerina Vrana is one of Greece‘s top stand-up comedians, performing all over the world in both Greek and English. Her shows have sold out in every country she’s performed in as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. CNN has listed her as one of the “Female Comedians You Must Watch” and in 2016 she came third in the Laugh Factory’s global competition «Funniest Person In The World». In 2017, while on tour in Malaysia, she fell seriously ill and nearly died. She survived but with severe impairments affecting her movement, eyesight and speech and she now moves around mainly in a wheelchair. She got back on stage in 2019, in Greece, with her show “Staying Alive (I nearly died, you know)” which was a record-breaking incredibly successful. Katerina has also done TEDx talks, award presentations, European tours and most recently co-presented Sing for Greece, the competition to choose a song for Eurovision.
