Jesús Caballero is CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of SOF Connect, the operator of Vasil Levski Sofia Airport. He is also member of the boards of Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport (New York) and Queen Alia International Airport (Amman). He leads an investment program of more than EUR 624 million, delivering major infrastructure upgrades, digital transformation, the modernization of Terminal 2, and the construction of Terminal 3 to enhance passenger experience and airport capacity. A recognized leader in sustainable aviation, Mr. Caballero is President of the ACI World Fund Council and a Board Member of ACI EUROPE. Jesus Caballero was named Manager of the Year 2024 in Bulgaria by Manager Magazine and Deloitte, and received the Businessman of the Year 2025 award from the French-Bulgarian Trade and Industrial Chamber. Under his leadership, Vasil Levski Sofia Airport won the ACI EUROPE Best Airport Award 2025 and the ACI EUROPE HR Excellence Award 2026.
