Leonidas spent most of his younger years in the UK, where he attended boarding school and obtained an MSE in Software Engineering at City University. He proceeded to obtain his MBA from SDA Bocconi and remained in Milano where he worked for Accenture. He returned in Greece joining ELAKTOR group as a member of the SAP team and was involved in a 4-year digital transformation project where he was exposed to a wide range of operational and functional challenges. As the CEO of MAS Europe, Leonidas quickly saw the limitations of current Technologies and the market need for new innovative solutions based on state-of-the-art software. Having a strong technology background and 20+ years of experience and know-how in energy sectors, he led the company’s transformation from traditional technology company to a cutting-edge software company. Following his vision, Leonidas has established MAS S.A. as a recognized brand within a niche group of highly specialized companies with exclusive focus in the design and development of advanced power & energy management solutions. Winner of multiple awards, the company operates in 25 countries, offering innovative technology products and solutions that enable Energy producers and consumers to meet the operational and environmental challenges of the energy transition. Leonidas is an active member of the Energy Committee and the Leadership Committee in the American Chamber of Commerce as well as a member in several energy related think-tanks.
