Dr. Nadine Baudot-Trajtenberg is a renowned economist, expert in finance and banking as well as in economic policy. Born in Montreal, Canada, she obtained her BA at the University of Montreal, followed by a Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford (she was the first Canadian woman to win this prestigious award), where she received an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and then a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, under the supervision of Prof. Larry Summers.  Nadine’s career includes private and public sector experience, as well as teaching in academic institutions.  She spent two decades in the banking and asset management sector in various positions, including head of investor relations (IR) at Bank Hapoalim, chair of the Board of Management of Bank Leumi Luxembourg, and head of the Investment Committee of the largest pension fund in Israel. In the public sector, she held the position of Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel (the Central Bank of Israel) between 2014 and 2019, as well as of interim Governor for a 2-month period at the end of her 5-year term.   Following her tenure at the Bank of Israel, she held an advisory position at the Bank of International Settlement (BIS) in Basel, and rejoined the faculty of the School of Economics at Reichman University in Israel, where she teaches global economic development and economic policy.  In addition, she has been involved in the innovative Fin Tech sector in Israel, and sits on the board of publicly traded companies
