Athanasios Vamvakidis is Managing Director and Global Head of G10 Foreign Exchange Strategy for Bank of America Global Research, based in London. He has been ranked 1st for FX strategy in the 2021 Institutional Investor Survey in Europe. He previously worked at the International Monetary Fund for 13 years, where he held a number of senior positions. He has a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
