Paschalis Bouchoris is the Country Manager for BlackRock in Dubai heading BlackRock’s overall activity in the Middle East (ex-Saudi) region. In his previous role at BlackRock since May 2015 he led the activity of Financial Market Advisory in Southeastern Europe & Middle East serving multiple financial and official institutions. Paschalis has over 25 years of experience in banking, advisory and executive management. Prior to BlackRock he was the CEO of Greece's Privatization Fund. Previously he had worked at National Bank of Greece in roles including Head of Large Corporate Special Assets (NPLs), Head of International Corporate Sector focusing on the Group's corporate banking and asset recovery activities in Southeastern Europe and co-Head of the Group's private equity funds (NBGI). Earlier in his career he had worked as a strategy consultant with Monitor Company in New York. He has an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from NTUA.
