Yannis Eustathopoulos, is an experienced economist, specialized in economic analysis and policy (Pierre Mendès-France University, Grenoble). He is currently Head of the Sustainable Development Observatory at ENA Institute for Alternative Policies and Project Manager of the “FORCE” project on the economic, social and environmental challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution [www.enaforce.eu]. For the past two decades, he has worked as a strategy & policy consultant in Greece, Cyprus and at EU level for prominent companies and consultancies, research institutes and international organisations (Eurofound, ITC-ILO, etc.) on fields such as Public Policy, Corporate Governance and Social Innovation, Network Industries (energy, telecommunications, water, transport), Policies for SMEs, innovation, industry and sustainable regional development. As a senior adviser to the Greek government (2015-2019) he has worked among others as Coordinator of the “National Sustainable Development Strategy 2030” of Greece and on the reform and governance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Services of General Economic Interest.
