Andreas Pollner (49 years old) holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany and Universidad de Concepcion, Chile. Prior to joining Schering and later on Bayer, Andreas Pollner worked as an Investment Manager for the German Investment and Development Corporation leading corporate and project finance engagements in developing countries. He has gathered broad experience in the pharma market with Bayer Pharma in Business Coordination, Portfolio management as well as Business Unit Head in Russia and project assignments in the US. As part of Bayer’s innovation path, he was leading a strategic, cross-divisional initiative to explore digital health and services in “Heart Health”. Prior to his assignment in Greece, he was heading the Therapeutic Area Cardio-Vascular for Region EMEA. He joined Bayer Hellas as Senior Bayer Representative and Cluster CDH for Pharma in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine by August 1st 2019.
