Dr Dimitris Angelakis is a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), in Singapore and a professor at TU Crete, with two decades of global research leadership in UK, Singapore and Greece. His work has received the 2018 Google Quantum Innovation Award, the Valerie Myerscough Award in 2002, and the UK Institute of Physics Quantum Electronics Thesis Prize. He sits at different scientific bodies including the QCN group of the EU Quantum Technology Flagship, the Singapore Quantum Engineering Program and the Council of Engineers at the NCRI. He has recently founded AngelQ Quantum Computing, a CQT quantum software solutions startup.
