Keith joined Citi in February 2019 to establish and lead the Sustainability & Corporate Transitions group. In this role,  he leads Citi’s sustainability engagement with its corporate clients, supporting them with strategic and M&A advice, financing and capital markets solutions, and investor engagement, as they transition their businesses towards more sustainable models. Keith holds a Bachelor of Economics (BEc) and Laws (LLB) from the University of Sydney, a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Sydney, the Advanced Management Program certification from INSEAD, the Goldman Sachs Non-Profit Leadership Program certification (Harvard University), and a Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership (MSt) from Cambridge University. As Global Co-Head of Sustainability & Corporate Transitions at Citi, Keith has advised clients on their corporate transitions, partnering with them in assessing the viability of new business models, analysing the impact of new processes and technologies, keeping track of evolving regulations, crafting effective investor messaging and helping forge vital collaborations across the full value-chain. Prior to Citi, Keith was the CEO of The B Team (2014-17), an NGO comprised of a group of 24 CEO’s of global companies, leading entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders to drive a better way of doing business. Keith was an active participant in the Paris Climate Agreement process in 2015. Keith is also the Founder & CEO of impact investing company, NEUW Ventures SA. NEUW invests in and creates early-stage businesses which aim to reduce the human ecological footprint and to accelerate the world’s transition to a sustainable economic model. NEUW also provides advice to CEO’s on corporate strategy focused on climate change and sustainability. He is the Chairman of the Global Footprint Network (an organisation that produces the national footprint accounts and promotes Earth Overshoot Day); a Director of the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation; a Governor of WWF-Australia; a Global Ambassador to the Wilderness Foundation Global; a Senior Advisor to WILD11; and a member of the Rewilding Europe Circle. He was previously a Director of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation (2006-18) and Bush Heritage Australia (2006-16), and a Board member of the global climate change coalition, We Mean Business (2014-17). From 2002 to 2008, Keith was Managing Director, Head of Investment Banking and a Partner of Goldman Sachs Australia. He also headed the Industrials group across EMEA with Goldman Sachs. He co-led the negotiations on behalf of Goldman Sachs for the successful merger of Goldman Sachs Australia and JB Were in 2003, and then led the merged Investment Banking business for the subsequent four years to 2007 as it grew to a top 3 position in the Australasian market.  Prior to joining GS in 2002, he was a Managing Director at UBS in Australia (2006-2002) and at Bankers Trust (1991-96). Keith commenced his career as a commercial lawyer for Allen Allen & Hemsley (1989-91).
