He was born in Athens in 1981. He studied Electronics engineering in the Hellenic Air Force Academy (HAFA) and holds a PhD on Antennas and Electromagnetism from the National Technical University of Athens. He left the Air Force as a captain, 8 years after graduating from the HAFA. From 2010 to 2015 he has worked in management consulting for the Boston Consulting Group where he has served multiple corporations in multiple industries but focusing mainly in shipping. Since 2015 he has been working for The Signal Group where he initially started fixing vessels in the tanker spot market and was part of the core team that developed the initial requirements for The Signal Ocean Platform. Since 2021 he has been the CCO and Deputy CEO of Signal Maritime Services being responsible for all the commercial operations and for the development of an Aframax and an MR pool.
