Irene Nikolopoulou is a Greek tv journalist & a senior communication consultant. She has a Masters degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Athens. She dreamed of becoming an interpreter as she was fond of foreign languages but ended up in Greek television as a newscaster & anchor for 27 years . She traveled abroad to study in Oxford, Paris Luxembourg, Nice and London and to take exclusive interviews from political personalities and famous artists such as François Mitterrand, Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, Yasser Arafat, Lech Walesa, Corazon Aquino, Jacques Chirac, Valery Giscard d’Estaing, Luciano Pavarotti, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Tom Hanks , Antony Quinn, Robert De Niro, Claudia Cardinale, etc www.enikolopoulou.gr .She was the anchorwoman of the official tv shows & events for the Athens Olympic Games 2004 Organizing Committee www.enikolopoulou.gr in 2012.  Irene has produced and presented a documentary for CNBC :‘’Greece: An Economic Odyssey’’.
 In 1990 she was honoured with the United Nations Journalism Award, in 2000 with the European Prize "Konstantinos Kalligas", and in 2001 she was elected as the "The best Greek newscaster".  Irene created her own holistic communication company About Media & has been working as a senior communication consultant, event manager, media trainer for multinationals and banks such as Coca Cola, ABN AMRO BANK, CREDIT AGRICOLE, Hellenic Petroleum etc .She has received a Gold and a Silver Hermes Award for two of her projects. 
 In 2011 she founded two sites  http://www.eirinika.grSilver DIME Award & www.madeingreece.news Bronze DIME Award. Currently she is the Communication Manager for ICC WOMEN HELLAS.  She has a daughter and 10 godchildren. She has not become a dancer yet ! To be continued ...
