Studied Sociology in Paris, Ιnternational Relations UCL. MA Byzantine civilization, London.   1972: co-founded with Costa Carras, ELLINIKI ETAIRIA   Directed 15 internationally awarded documentary films: «Sinai God Trodden Mountain» sales financed the restoration of the refectory of the Monastery. «Sir Steven Runciman: Bridge to the East», Chicago Film Festival award 1987. «The Song of the Monk Seal», «Beyond the Βarbed Wires», «Voice of the Aegean»: European Union awards. «My Life and Times - Michael Cacoyannis»: opening ceremony, Thessaloniki Film Festival 2009. Screened in Festivals all over the world. «Dry Stone-wall, Support of the Aegean»: MediMed Film Festival, Barcelona, etc.   Editor of the bilingual publication “Fragile Earth” (2021) Since 2004: Artistic Director of the Panorama of Ecological Films “Windows to our Planet”. 2014: co-founded with Maya Tsoclis the Network of Organisations and Citizens for the Historic Centre of Athens. March 2015:  curator of the exhibition «Marathon: Cultural Landscape / Marathon: Paysage Culturel», Unesco Headquarters, Paris. 2017: elected President of ELLINIKI ETAIRIA. 2019: won a European Heritage Award as the founder of the “Greek Paths of Culture” Programme. 2009: Academy of Athens award for her life΄s work in Heritage and Environment.
