Nefeli Lygerou is a Political Editor of Proto Thema, co-founder and contributor at SLPress.gr and Editor at ERT, the Hellenic Public Television Station. With a career in journalism spanning over a decade, Nefeli has contributed to Greece’s largest publications, including Proto Thema, Ependytis and Kathimerini’s “K” and “GK”, has produced successful television shows, such as Apefthias and Pandora’s Box and has flexed her entrepreneurial muscle by co-founding SLpress.gr, where she is a weekly contributor. Her notable expertise in national politics, the economy and their convergence, had led to her participation as an expert commentator on current affairs. Upon receiving a B.S. in Sociology from Panteion University, she moved to London, where she received an M.A. in Media & Communication from University of London, only to move to New York, where she attended Columbia University and received a second M.A.
