Anthimos Thomopoulos is the Founder and CEO of Hellenic Finance. Anthimos has over 30 years career in Greek banking. Until recently, he served as the CEO of Piraeus Bank helping transform the Bank to the leading banking institution in Greece. Before that he served as Deputy CEO of National Bank of Greece where he was instrumental to the Bank’s repositioning from national champion to a leading regional financial institution. He has studied Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Finance in Greece and the UK. He is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant and a US Chartered Financial Analyst.
