Nikolaos Karamouzis is the President of Grant Thornton Tax and Business Advisory Solutions SA, holding over 30 years of experience in the Greek Banking System. During the course of his career Mr. Karamouzis has served as the Chairman and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Eurobank Group and Chairman of the Hellenic Bank Association. Furthermore, he has served as the Deputy Governor of the NBG, President of the Hellenic Bank for Industrial Development, Chief Executive Officer of Geniki Bank and Advisor to the Management of Piraeus Bank, Director of Foreign Exchange Division of the Bank of Greece, Deputy Governor of the Hellenic Bank for Industrial Development and Advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, USA. Mr. Karamouzis has been a member of the Board of Directors of OTE, Mytilinaios and CHIPITΑ, President of Global Finance and Deputy Chairman of the Hellenic Association of Enterprises and the Greek Tourism Confederation. Mr. Karamouzis is Emeritus Professor at University of Piraeus and till September 2013 was a lecturer in the Department of Banking and Financial Management. Mr. Karamouzis was a lecturer at Pennsylvania State University, Case Western Reserve University, Economic University of Athens and Deree College. He holds an extensive record of research and scientific work, with publications in volumes, collective editions and international scientific journals, and has delivered a large number of lectures, speeches and presentations at various conferences and events.
