Stelios Koutsivitis is the Chairman and one of the main shareholders of SWOT S.A. He possesses 15 years of wide-ranging international experience in investment, development, finance, operations and asset management in the hospitality sector. He has been involved in the management of over €1 Billion of hotel investments across all hotel property types, including 4 star, 5 star, luxury, city and resort hotels in Greece and South Eastern Europe. He has been involved in a number of hotel acquisitions and development of some of the largest high profile hotel projects in the region, cooperating with international investment funds. Prior to his current position, he has served as a CEO of Astir Palace and CEO of Y. Daskalantonakis Group and has served on the Board of several companies in Greece and Eastern Europe. He has also served on the Tourism Committee of the American Hellenic Chamber. He also possesses long standing management experience in the public sector and International Organizations, having served as a Military Officer in the Hellenic National Defence General Staff and the United Nations, where he held management and diplomatic positions. He received an MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master’s degree from Athens University of Economic and Business and a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from University of La Verne. He has also graduated from the Hellenic Military Academy (Athens).
