Ο Περικλής Σ. Βαλλιάνος σπούδασε κοινωνιολογία και ιστορία των ιδεών στις ΗΠΑ. Είναι ομότιμος καθηγητής πολιτικής φιλοσοφίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών.
