Spiros Protopsaltis is the Governor and President of the Board of Directors of the Greek Manpower Employment Organization (OAED).  Previously, he was an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Education Policy at George Mason University in the USA. During the presidency of Barack Obama, he was Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Education.  He has worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for Senator Tom Harkin, Chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and for Congressman Jared Polis of Colorado on the Education and Labor Committee of the House of Representatives in Washington. A graduate of Athens College, Dr. Protopsaltis holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston, a master’s degree from The New School University in New York, and a doctorate from the University of Colorado Denver..
