Christos Georgiopoulos has over 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry and communities and is the founder of the Technology Ecosystem Development Inc. Prior to founding this consulting firm, he served as Vice President of the Software and Solutions Group and general manager of the Developer Relations Division at Intel Corporation until 2016. The Developer Relations Division was responsible for providing programs and services to the global software ecosystem developing applications and services for all of Intel’s platforms. Christos began his Intel career in 1999 in High Performance Computing and has held several roles in bringing the ItaniumTM and PentiumTM processors as well as the CentrinoTM technology to market. Prior to Intel, Georgiopoulos was principal investigator and Senior Scientist at CERN and the Supercomputer Research Institute at Florida State University, with expertise in High Performance Computing, pattern recognition algorithms and optimization as well as particle physics detectors and online data acquisition systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Experimental High Energy Physics from Tufts University.
