Elias G. Bellos is a journalist, business editor, political scientist and international relations expert. He has been working for the newspaper “Kathimerini” and its affiliated online and offline activities since 2011. Previously he has worked for “Kefalaio”, “capital.gr”, “Isotimia” “isotimia.gr” and “Banker's Review” while he has also served as the managing director for new media at the Daily Press Group and as the head of the international relations department of the Nemesis SA and Adele SA groups (Development of Business Week and Bloomberg branded content & syndication projects, Paragraph Publishing joint venture, McGraw-Hill venture). In his 25 plus years career has also published magazines such as “Greek Business Review” and “Whiskey Magazine”. He has also cooperated, ad hoc or at a freelance basis, with a number of other news media, both print and electronic and TV and radio outlets. His career includes extensive experience in media commercial development as well as academic research (Hellenic Center for European Studies). He holds Master’s degrees from the University of Kent at Canterbury in Theory & Philosophy of International Relations and Conflict Resolution and a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. He graduated from Athens College in 1985. He is married with two children and lives in Athens.
