Andrea Celli, General Manager of Philips Italy, Israel and Greece, is also Sales & Operations Leader of the IIG area for the Health Systems business, with the responsibility of leading the development of the healthcare business, achieving the growth objectives outlined in the industrial plan and lead the company's transition towards healthcare informatics. Within Philips since 2011, Andrea Celli held the position of Head of Strategy & Public Affairs of Philips IIG and before that he was Head of Lighting Solutions Center, after gaining roles of increasing responsibility in leading companies in the ICT sector. He was also President of the Electromedical Association of Confindustria Dispositivi Medici (the Italian association gathering companies belonging to medical devices sector), where he promoted the urgent need to translate innovation into sustainable solutions capable of overcoming the challenges that health systems are facing: digitization, chronicity and aging of the population above all. Born in Rome in 1973, graduated in Electronic Engineering at La Sapienza University of Rome, he subsequently earned an MBA from SDA Bocconi University in Milan.
