Maria is the President and CEO of GTP, Greece’s leading business media for the travel industry. GTP network includes award-winning online and print tourism publications, provides quality journalism in the digital ecosystem, and manages and exploits information and data for all sectors of tourism. Maria also owns and runs DANAE Travel Group, engaged in travel and tourism arrangements, hospitality management, and airline representations. In addition to growing and scaling business, Maria is an accidental lobbyist, a regular panel moderator in international tourism related conferences and a speaker. She is also engaged in evaluation committees for tourism related startups and the innovation ecosystem and has a passion to support next generation through mentorship. She sits on the board of directors of SETE and INSETE and she is the Vice-President of the Hellenic Association of Airline Representatives (SAAE). Maria has also served as a Board Member of ECTAA, Vice-President of HATTA, and FedHATTA, Board Member of PETAGA and she participates in the Sports Advisory Board of Athens College. She holds a MSc in Marketing, a certificate in Managerial Finance at LSE and in Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
